Audience and Institution Introduction

Over the summer I have been to the cinema a couple of times. The films which I saw were; 'The Amazing Spiderman' and 'Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.' After seeing the trailer for 'The Amazing Spiderman', me and three friends planned on going to see it at Vue. The guy who plays Spike in Notting Hill (Rhys Ifans) was in it. Considering I've never seen him in another film, it was a surprise to see him in a role so different (a very clever scientist-turned lizard villain creepy man.) Andrew Garfield also played the role of spiderman very well and looked good in his unitard.

In 'The Dark Knight Rises' I thought that the story line was really interesting, however really confusing. Considering I have seen the previous two Batman films, I found it really difficult to understand until a pount near the end of the film when the whole cinema screen whent "Oh! I get it now!" I also found the beginning bit really long, a bit like 'King Kong'; boring yet crucial in the way that if you dont see the first hour, there is no change any of the film will make sense. Tom Hardy (who plays Bane, the bad guy) has put on a lot of weight which has made him slightly less attractive. Overall, I think the films were very good and would reccomend them to anoyone who likes action films, however don't fall asleep during the first hour of 'Batman.' it is boring but it is very important!
